Fuel cell or semiconductor
A fuel-cell sensor reacts to ethanol and holds its accuracy longer. A semiconductor sensor is cheaper but may react to other substances and drifts faster. All our breathalyzers use fuel-cell sensors.

From one breathalyzer to an entrance system
The employee is identified, takes a test, and the system allows or blocks entry and logs everything. Our BAAC system has done this since 2004.

Calibration and verification
Calibrated with a 34 °C simulator at two points
The reference solution is warmed to breath temperature and the device is adjusted at 0.5 and 1.0‰ (stationary units also at 1.5‰). We accept devices from all over Lithuania.

Which breathalyzer should I buy for myself?
Choose a fuel-cell sensor and a model that can be calibrated in Lithuania. If you want a history on your phone, pick one with Bluetooth. The finder shows the 3 best matches in 30 seconds.
What is the difference between a €60 and a €900 breathalyzer?
Both can have a fuel-cell sensor, but the expensive one is built for high volume, stores tens of thousands of records with GPS, prints results and can be verified.
How often should a breathalyzer be calibrated?
We recommend every 6 months, at least once a year and always before verification. More often with heavy use.
Do you calibrate other brands?
Yes, most models on the market. Choose "Other device" when booking and we will confirm compatibility.
Does a breathalyzer tell me if I can drive?
No. It shows the alcohol concentration in your breath with a tolerance. Alcohol leaves each body differently, so the safest rule is 0‰ if you plan to drive.
