How we calibrate
Calibration is not a button press. It is a controlled comparison with a reference under the conditions of human breath.
An ethanol solution of known concentration is used.
The simulator warms the solution to breath temperature and holds it – temperature affects accuracy most.
We adjust at 0.5 and 1.0‰ (stationary units also at 1.5‰), so the whole common range is accurate.
After adjustment, readings are checked against the reference again.

In and around Kaunas it is easiest to bring the device yourself – we are in Noreikiškės (Akademija), just a few kilometres from Kaunas.
In Vilnius, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Panevėžys, Alytus, Marijampolė and elsewhere there is no need to travel: send it via parcel locker or courier. We have no branches in other cities, so shipping is the fastest way.
